JORDI GOMEZ, freelance photographer, was born 2nd May 1978 on the hot spring waters of Caldes de Montbui, Barcelona. He captures powerful images that arrest the senses, the product of an inspired mind overflowing with creativity and vision. From a young age he had the urge to explore the world, and was a rebel against the routine. At 22 he left everything behind to travel around the globe; a trip that changed his life. In the Himalayas he met Australian photographer Jeremy Simons who taught him the secrets of the profession, and started working as his assistant in Sydney.
